hela Sverige Do you want to participate in creating a sustainable and emission free future? We seek development engineers to work with technology areas such as electrical propulsion, thermal management, balance of plant for fuel cell to be implemented in our construction equipment machinery.
Sustainable Powertrain and electromobility systems are responsible for development of electromobility systems including electrical motors, power electronics, energy storages, control systems and software to control the systems and complete driveline. We work with the complete development cycle from design and implementation to testing in machine.
We are now looking for skilled candidates to join our team.
Role description
The job can include tasks such as electrical system design, system analysis, system modelling and simulation, system and component specification, software and control development. You will also take part of development testing in model in the loop environment, test rigs, and in complete Machines in close cooperation with our calibration and test engineers.
The end application is construction equipment machines such as wheel loaders, excavators and articulated haulers. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional teams.
The job requires a broad approach with a general understanding of construction equipment and drive lines. Specifically, it is important with knowledge in electric machines, power electronics, and energy storages.

Experience from development of electromobility systems, automotive propulsion systems, mechatronic systems or embedded software systems
Knowledge in electrical system design, electric motors, power electronics, energy storages, modelling and simulation, mechatronics, etc.
Control system and software development experience
Ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently as well as a team member
Good communication skills in English are a requirement
