hela Sverige As a Director of Engineering you will utilize strong management and technical competencies to set objectives and develop strategies for the engineering team in Sweden. You will be part of a globally diverse engineering management team focused on ensuring alignment of the Engineering organization with the needs of the business and having a maniacal focus on execution for specific projects and products. You will provide direction and leadership to engineering managers, team leads and engineering professionals focused on designing, developing and testing our family of Packetlogic products. You will liaise effectively and constructively with other groups to ensure that Engineering has the context and support it needs to be successful. You should be obsessed with evolving efficient processes, scalable tools, and resource allocation to ensure our products are delivered on time with high quality. You crave real responsibility and prefer an environment where your results speak for themselves.
Job Requirements
• Provide necessary technical leadership skills to lead by example, assist and support the team in accomplishing all tasks, and demonstrate ownership and accountability.
• Proven track record of leading software teams/products to success managing to tight deadlines and milestones.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion and obsession for the technical performance in every product you ship.
• Fearless, creative, and resourceful in solving problems.
A minimum of 7 to10 years of experience leading broadband or mobile network software development teams
Min. of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Master?s preferred.
Experience in scaling teams, technology and processes.
A demonstrated ability to manage the execution of multiple complex projects is required.
