HR Center of Expertise (HR CoE) Volvo Group, Sweden is right now looking for a strong Director and Team Leader in the area of Compensation and Benefits, because the current Director will move on to new opportunities within Volvo Group after 6 fantastic years at HR CoE.
The primary focus of HR CoE Sweden is to achieve an alignment of Volvo Group's HR strategic goals and direction. We work cross all organizations and brands for Sweden, such as Volvo Trucks, Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment etc. and cover more than 20.000 employees. We also work closely with our global functional teams to identify and address country specific needs and challenges. HR CoE consists of 14 experts in 4 different areas; Health & Safety, Labor Relations, Compensation & Benefits and Talent & Leadership. HR CoE is a part of the Group HR function at Volvo Group and you will report directly to the Vice President HR CoE, Sweden.
Position Description
We are looking for Director and team leader in Compensation and Benefits that can strengthen the current Compensation and Benefits team. In this position you will develop reward and recognition models, policies, tools and guidelines. You will also manage and review benefits and salary structures. You will work in close relation to other functions within HR CoE. You will be involved in many topics and projects within this area, such as activities linked to our employee value proposition, salary review, compensation training, position evaluation, international mobility, tax etc. You will write reports and do presentations in various forums and participate in different networks. You will coach and advice HR Business Partner's in the area of Compensation and Benefits. You will also be a member in HR Country Committee for Volvo Group, a management team to decide strategical decision for common HR agenda for Sweden, for all Volvo organizations and brands.
Reporting and Authority
As team leader you will lead a team of two Subject Matter Experts in Compensation and Benefits area. You will also be a member of the Swedish HR Country Committee team, representing Compensation & Benefits. You will also be part of global Compensation & Benefits network for Volvo Group (100.000 employees). You will lead a national Swedish Functional Working Group for Compensation & Benefits.
You will report directly to Vice President, Human Resources, Center of Expertise Sweden.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge
Passion for Compensation & Benefits questions
A Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Documented senior experience from HR and Compensation and Benefits experience
Results oriented with Business and customer focus
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into Compensation & Benefits priorities and actions on country level
Professional understanding of country laws, regulations and collective agreements, and deep understanding of the labor market
Good communication and pedagogical skills
Ability to establish good relationships and networking
Confidence in own ability and readiness to question and challenge different issues
Strong project management skills, leadership and influencing skills
Analytical and Holistic view
Excellent Excel skills
Fluency in Swedish and English
