We are now looking for a thought leader to join our team as Digitalization Officer with a clear mission of defining the next step in our digitalization strategy for Siemens AB and driving the vision across the organization.

What are my responsibilities?

• Define together with Country and Division Management the digitalization strategy framework for Siemens AB and support turning it into actionable reality. Design and lead strategic projects / program opportunities.

• Foster innovation and growth by the promoting the latest technologies. Identify opportunities and create business models to expand, optimize and transform the business.

• Benchmark our state of digitalization and initiate agile transformation projects where needed together with Country and Division management.

• Act as advisor to senior management and business partners on advanced technical and business matters. Represent the company to position Siemens as a thought leader in digitalization.

• Develop and maintain a digitalization program roadmap - coordinate and align digitalization initiatives across divisions, region and HQ.

• Position Siemens as company of choice for digitalization with customers and vital society functions (e.g. ministries, governmental authorities, municipalities, academies, innovation centres, NGO's)

• Understand the relevant business and market context (e.g. goals, business decisions, relationships of key determinants, constraints, trends, areas of innovation)

• Classify, prioritize and relate current business drivers and facts.

• Management of analytics platforms and tools. Develop KPIs and ways to measure success.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Knowledge and experience:

• A relevant university degree in a technical field and/or finance

• Experience from managing digitalization programs in complex organizations. Professional experience in an internationally operating business and domain expertise from industry, energy and infrastructure is desirable.

• Ability to combine solid IT knowledge with business insight and successfully take the role as advisor to senior management.

• Knows how to link digitalization initiatives to business model development and implementation

• Strategic project/program management experience and can successfully build dialogue and coordinate with business owners.

• Has managed analytics platforms and tools

• Very good language skills in English and Swedish (German skills is a plus)

• Excellent communication skills, can build relations both internally and externally

• Strong drive with business acumen and focus

• Analytical person with action spirit and strategic thinking
