About Standards & Technology
You will join the Standards & Technology unit within Business Area Networks that drives technology foresight for the complete business area portfolio, from antennas to cloud! We are close to 300 researchers present at four main sites in Kista, Lund, Paris, and Rosenheim. What makes us unique is that within our unit we have competences in all areas needed to both research and build pioneering mobile networks, putting research results into practice.

About this opportunity
You will be part of Standards & Technology's Radio and Antennas department researching, developing, and validating the latest pioneering radio technologies ranging from lower physical layer signal processing to the antenna. Concept development, design and validation is done in everything from our ground-breaking simulators and crude lab prototypes to end-to-end systems implemented in product-like prototypes. You will be working in one of the most experienced teams within this domain in the world.
This role is oriented towards the systemization, development and integration of Digital Radio functions for our 6G product-like prototypes (testbeds). Activities are centered around FPGA design, signal processing, high-speed digital interfaces, clocking, converters and analog board design.
What you will do
* Research, develop and integrate digital radio functions and concepts for next generation pioneering radio products
* Drive, organize and be part of a team of senior radio researchers and developers
* Plan and report the team's activities
* Engage in hands-on design and integration of product-like radio prototypes (testbeds)
* Contribute and collaborate with product organizations to get the proven concepts into the main product stream.
You will bring
* A PhD or MSc or equivalent experience in signal processing, electrical engineering, computer science or similar.
* Demonstrated strong abilities in leading a highly skilled technical team across multiple subject areas - while being a contributing member of the team.
* Strong knowledge in radio systemization and line-up
* Hands-on experience of radio design and integration
* Be fact based, result oriented and determined

Experience in the following areas is an advantage
* Good understanding of analog & RF domain and its impairments
* Good understanding of Baseband and Radio Access Network
* Good understanding of Signal processing
* Experience in FPGA design
* Experience in Radio SW & HW integration
* Experience in high-performance mixed-signal board design
