The Body Electronics group is responsible for creating the system solutions for Exterior Light, Sound Signalling and Visibility. The group is also responsible for the development of modules within body electronic area such as gateway modules, exterior light control modules and body controllers.
We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in diagnostics to strengthen our team. You will work with existing and new diagnostic design in current and upcoming car projects. You will lead the planning and implementation of diagnostic functionality and changes. You will also work with the method engineers providing information for their descriptions towards the workshops.
Working with diagnostic technologies means that you establish and develop relationships with System Designers within all functional areas, as well as building an understanding of the design within those areas. In this position, you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network both within Product & Quality organization and in the aftermarket organization. You will work closely together with component design engineers, system design engineers and in-house software development teams.
Main responsibilities:
* Specify and implement diagnostic functionality
* Review diagnostic design and requirements
* Design and implement diagnostic interfaces
* Responsible for diagnostic issue and change management
* Lead technical diagnostic meetings with supplier and the internal team
Required qualifications:
* B.Sc. grade within Electrical, Computer, Engineering Physics or equivalent level of education
* Experience of diagnostic developing and specifications
* Knowledge in AUTOSAR
* Knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262
* Knowledge in On Board Diagnostic (OBD II) standard
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* B driving license
Meritorious qualifications
* Experience from software design for automotive
* Knowledge of Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/ Simulink
* Experiuence from Agile development processes

* Self-driven and reliable
