Aseptic Technologies is a Key Competence in Tetra Pak and is located in the organisation Packaging Technologies within Development & Service Operations. Our responsibility is to drive technical know-how within our field and deliver solutions to new and existing products through innovation and participation in technology development and product development projects. We also verify and validate compliance of new products to internal and external requirements regarding aseptic and hygienic technologies as well as verify aseptic and hygienic performance of new products.
As a Development Engineer you will be a part of a team which interacts closely with Tetra Pak's product development organisations. You will be part of product development projects and will have the responsibility to make sure the stakeholder has access to the best competence the company has to offer by interacting with your colleagues in the Aseptic Systems team, and you will make sure the team gets all necessary information from the stakeholder. This position is based in Lund.
Main responsibilities
• Plan, drive and coordinate the work in an extended team in stakeholder projects to assure aseptic compliance of the end product
• Bring the needs of the platform, new lessons learnt and other relevant information to your organisation
• Apply and perform validation & verification tests to Aseptic and Hygienic systems
• Contribute to the development of aseptic and hygienic systems
• Contribute to the development of test methods
• Following up the compliance of Tetra Pak machines to Technical Corporate Standards, Regulatory Aspects (e.g. FDA)
• Occasionally participate in Field tests and possibly troubleshooting at customer site
Qualifications
You have a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Experience from development work is a plus. Practical work in laboratories, on test rigs and other equipment comes natural to you.
It comes easy to you to share your knowledge with others and to invite the input from others and find common ground and get cooperation from others. You are a true team player and feel comfortable in communicating and networking with colleagues throughout the organization. You also have the ability to act without having the total picture. Furthermore you can plan and coordinate work together with your colleagues. You also enjoy solving problems and use logic and methods to solve difficult problems.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
