The department EPP Customer Solutions is responsible for customer specific adaptations for Enclosures & Power system. The designs include mechanical, electrical and thermal products and exists in many different shapes, from small outdoor and indoor modules to large cabinets.
The holder of this position must have a profound understanding about how Ericsson Enclosure & Power Products including hardware and software interacts, how hardware blocks and interfaces work and how these shall be modeled. Good knowledge of telecom enclosure products design and verification is a necessity for the position-holder.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for product development from concept phase to product realization using his mechanical & material selection expertise.
Responsible for producing & improve, product design and probable supplier identification.
Responsible for technical argumentation with suppliers and vendors during negotiations.
Responsible for Configuration management handling through PRIM, GASK product status and maintaining required documentation.
Develop and test high quality products.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in the technical domain
Ericsson Industrial design compatibility
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience.
Product Lifecycle Management knowledge and hardware product development hands on experience.
Domain Expertise "Mechanical"
Telecom Enclosure products, preferred with mechanical design & sheet metal knowledge
CAD Softwares: Hands on with PTC Creo, Solidworks, Auto-Cad, Pro-E
Testing/ Verification/ Certification/Documentation and Product release handling
Global standards and regulations for telecom enclosure and power products
Risk management and handling
Ericsson Process & Tool Knowledge
Configuration and System Management, Knowledge of PRIM, GASK, ERIDOC, Unit Database
Technical writing - Requirement specification, Datasheet and Installation Instruction
System and process knowledge: CDPH, HWDP and Blackbox design
Able to work with team and able to do networking
Dual role can switch to team leader, being individual contributor and vice-versa.
Good cooperation and communication skills
Highly developed communication skills
Can front end customer unit and Partners
External customer and partners and respond technically
Understanding customer requirements, broken down
Communicate relevant stakeholder.
Business acumen, including ROI & risk calculations
