We are now looking for a Developer to join our UMI (Upgrade Migration Installation) team in R&D for the product EDA, Ericsson Dynamic Activation, within the area Core Networks Engineering
You will work in Karlskrona within a development organization that belongs to Business Area Cloud Software & Services. Our responsibility in Karlskrona is the development of products within the Provisioning and Activation area, i.e. activation of Subscribers, Services and Resources. Currently, we have ~1500 installations worldwide and our products serve over 3 billion users. x
You will be at the forefront of Ericsson's 5G core development enabled by a Cloud Native architecture. Development is done according to Agile principles in multi-functional self-organized teams with typically 5-7 Developers. The cornerstones in our development include a very high level of test automation, continuous integration and daily deliveries in a DevOps approach. Our organization is, due to its moderate size, very familiar and has quick decision paths.
What you will do
Play a key role in a creative and inspiring organization with phenomenal opportunities to grow in your profession
Work in a development team with breakdown of requirements, design, implementation, test, documentation and verification
Automate procedures in the upgrade, migration and installation area
Maintain and evolve platforms used for verification of the EDA product
You will bring
Experience of coding and scripting in complex systems using JAVA, Scala, Phyton, Ansible
Experience of working with technologies such as Openstack, Linux, Kubernetes, Git and Public Clouds
Understanding of the DevOps concept
BSc, MSc, or similar experience in relevant area (SW development, telco business)
Understanding of network infrastructure and cloud native platforms
