At the department of Design and Preparation for Press Tools, we are responsible support the developing of new production processes, products and concepts based on our customers' demands - with the right quality, to the best possible budget and delivered on time. We are currently looking for a Designer to join our team of ten people, and we offer you an active and innovative environment where you'll enjoy great teamwork and personal development, as well as an opportunity to build extensive networks with many interesting contacts within our business area.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
As a Designer, you support the creation and development of new and unique tools used in metal cutting, and you ensure stability in our processes by collaborating with Product Specialists, Cutting Designers, Production Technicians, the R&D function and multiple production units around the globe. Your responsibility ranges throughout our entire product catalogue, which includes tools for turning, milling and drilling, and you modify existing products and develop entirely new concepts. The role also includes developing production data, such as drawings and basis for Press Tools.
Travel may occur in this position, mostly to our facilities in Sandviken and Stockholm.

We are looking for someone with a relevant technical degree or the equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience, where you have previously worked with creating structures or designs using 3D/CAD-systems in an industrial environment. Knowledge of metal cutting and NX is considered an advantage. As we interact in a global setting, you are fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
