Volvo Group Product Design is expanding, and we wish to strengthen our Chief Designer function, leading the design and strategy development in support of three global machine ranges for Volvo Construction Equipment.
The Chief Designer role, reporting to the Design Director of Volvo CE, independently manages a variety of projects. The responsibility includes implementing a participatory and iterative design process, planning and leading the project content, time and budget, specifying and delivering the user, brand and design requirements in line with the Director's strategies.

Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience of industrial design or product design
• Minimum BFA/BA degree required
• Proficient with 3D design tools such as Alias, 2D design/visualization tools such as Adobe
• Team leader or supervisory experience is a merit
