hela Sverige Chassis Electrical and Pneumatic Installation in Gothenburg, is responsible for the design of installations and components for chassis electrical (signal and high voltage) brake systems, air suspension systems, and additional equipment. The development process encompasses design, planning, documentation, validation, and verification of Electrical and Pneumatic Installations. The work spans across all stages of product development, including complete vehicle projects, product maintenance, and component projects. This work is conducted in close collaboration within a multicultural environment, involving both internal and external contacts, including our various development sites worldwide and suppliers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for new developments in Product Initiatives and quality work related to Pneumatic and Electrical Installations. The primary design tools include Creo and KOLA (main documentation system). This role also entails working with other data systems and documentations for reporting purposes towards Product Initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Production, FVV, Aftermarket, etc. Additionally, you will lead and delegate work to Consultant work packages and other sites, with a primary focus on our site in Bangalore, India, depending on your role and experience.
About you
• You should possess an engineering degree and have several years of experience as an engineer.
• Specific experience of several years in CAD design and Creo/Cabling installation is highly desirable.
• Experience with KOLA DVP, as well as working as an ETL or TEAM LEADER, and/or previous experience with Automotive, are beneficial skills for this role.
• A structured approach to work and experience with working in scrum teams are important.
• Experience working with heavy-duty vehicles is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
