hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Department Manager for Chemical Analysis to lead our analytical expertise at our Bohus site. Does that sound like you?
This is a key leadership role where you will drive scientific excellence in analytical chemistry, ensure high product quality, and enable innovation and growth across Nouryon's global operations.
In your future role as Department Manager Chemical Analysis you will
Lead and develop the Chemical Analysis department with groups dedicated to spectroscopy, chromatography and wet chemistry.
Ensure high-quality analytical services supporting product quality, manufacturing, and new product development
Drive competence development in analytical chemistry and ensure compliance with HSE, GMP/GDP, ISO 17025 and internal quality standards
Act as Qualified Person (QP) and Responsible Person (RP) for operations in Sweden and Norway
Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Foster a safe, collaborative, and innovative working environment
We believe you bring
PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or BS with +10 years of experience including QP training
Extensive experience within analytical chemistry or a closely related technical field
Experience managing diverse teams covering broad technical content
Strong leadership capability with the ability to engage, coach, and develop teams
A strategic and structured mindset with excellent prioritization skills
Fluency in English
