Let's make a difference in finance for the many people
Reporting to Head of Data Management, you will join a team of highly motivated and experienced colleagues responsible for the bank's Enterprise Data Warehouse including development of the Data Warehouse, Data Quality assurance and a bank wide Data Governance network. The team is also responsible for development of regulatory reporting and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions.
In your assignments as Data Warehouse Developer you will be working closely with several departments across the bank as Risk, Operations and the local Commercial departments, with a specific focus on Finance, Compliance and AML. In your daily work you will utilize Informatica tools as Power Center, Data Quality and Metadata manager to develop and quality assure complex solutions. The scope of ETL design and development includes data extraction from heterogeneous data sources, data cleansing, database loading and support to meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate has experience with various database platforms including Oracle and SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop our common information platform based on Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle database
• Design a secure and reliable work-flow for staging, cleansing and loading with high performance
• In collacobration with business stakeholders define and populate data marts with data for use with BI solutions like QlikView and Axiom
• Establish and support data quality routines
• Work closely with BI developers, Data Governance and Information Architect
• Work with metadata management and business glossary

Professional skills:
• Expert knowledge in Informatica PowerCenter
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of data modelling
• Good knowledge of data quality and handling quality issues
• Good database knowledge, preferably Oracle
• Working with databases and data modelling, preferably Oracle
• Experience in working with data quality
• Experience with master-data management
• Experience with meta-data and reference-data management
Competencies:
• Excellent developer skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Ability to work individually as well as in a wider team with both Data Management and Business stakeholders
• Structured, analytical and accurate
• Fluent in English
• Good awareness of and handling of cultural differences
• Ability to understand business needs and translate into technical terms and solutions
• Strong will to gain new knowledge
• Experience from the banking or insurance sector is an advantage but not a requirement
Education:
Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or Informatics or comparable education and/or experience
