We are now building a new Strategy and Data Governance team in our Data & Analytics organization, an exciting opportunity to join the journey to strengthen our analytical foundation and leverage data for new insights. The Data Governance team will be responsible for securing strategy and structure for common data models and definitions and will play a key part in building our new target hybrid cloud foundation for Analytics in Telia Company. In this role you will be reporting directly to Karolina Perzon, Head of Governance & Strategy in Platform Services and Data & Analytics.
Is this your next opportunity?
You will have a key role in the Analytics Data Governance team, driving strategy and approach for centralizing selected data models and KPIs to enable strengthened cross-country alignment. You will play a central part in several strategic projects, advising on how Telia can leverage common data models to streamline development and shorten time to market. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing strategy for common KPIs and data modeling across all markets in alignment with data catalog and data lineage initiatives
Coordinating data documentation as part of Analytics & BI target architecture, setting structure and guidelines for all markets
Leading alignment on new common data models
Raising requirements for tools and solutions to support common governance of data models and KPIs
SPOC towards strategic initiatives and Enterprise Information Architecture team.
In this role you will be part of the Platform Services team in Data & Analytics in Stockholm. You will work with a wide set of stakeholders including senior Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Cloud DevOps Engineers, Information Modellers etc.

Is this you?
You are someone structured with passion and experience from the BI and Analytics domain. You are communicative and enjoy working in collaboration with multiple stakeholders to find solutions and best practices.
Your personality:
Structured and result-oriented
Strong communicator with good storytelling skills
understands and anticipated business needs and demonstrates it in suggested solutions
Brings about change by campaigning for critical issues and decisions
Can develop and align short and long-term goals with the big picture
Your Experience:
3+ years experience in BI, Data Warehousing & Analytics
Hands on experience in Data Modelling and/or Information Modelling techniques
Experience from working with different BI tools (e.g. ETL/ELT, Data catalog, data lineage etc.)
