We are looking for a Senior Data Privacy Security Specialist to join our IT Security team.
The team is today assisting the Electrolux Group of Companies regarding compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU, and with similar data protection regulations applicable in other parts of the world. There is a rapid development of regulations protecting personal data around the world, so the team needs to stay up to date, spread awareness and coordinate different interests within the Group functions.
The Senior Data Privacy Security Specialist's primary role is to work closely with the Group DPO and other governance teams in responding to personal data requests, supporting, and maintaining the data content of the toolset used for the Record of Processing Activities and other assessments related to personal data and security.
The role will assist the company to ensure compliance with personal data protection and information security regulations. This will be done through risk assessment and by providing seamless processes as well as spreading awareness.
Tasks:
• Play a key role in execution of data protection compliance in Electrolux Group with main focus on EU
• Coordinate and make risk assessment to ensure Data Protection and Information Security regulations are met
• Work closely and serve as the contact point for Group DPO on data subject access requests
• Assist the Group DPO to implement and develop data protection compliance activities in the Group, including providing guidelines, templates and training activities as needed from time to time
• Review and follow up the mechanisms necessary to retrieve, review, remove or delete personal data
• Engage stakeholders and business partners as needed to communicate Data Protection objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress
• Responsible for assisting projects in data protection requirements in our IT solutions
• Monitor the progress and service Layer agreements (SLAs) for data subjects' requests
• Own Continuous Improvement program for Data Protection processes and tools (such as OneTrust and integrations with other tools)
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, we believe you have strong analytical skills and have a high attention to detail. You have a willingness to learn and like to describe yourself as having a can-do attitude. Proactiveness and ability to learn is also something we are looking for, as well as someone having interest in processes and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Good knowledge of data protection regulations and practices with main focus on EU
• Good knowledge in data protection tools, e.g. OneTrust
• Familiar with company IT internal process and tools preferred.
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors is considered as an advantage
• Work experience in ServiceNow is a plus
• Excellent English both written and spoken is required
Nice to have
• Data Protection related certifications, example IAPP
• Security knowledge
