We are currently recruiting for a Data & Analytics Specialist within the Finance/Business Controlling area to join our Global IT department. With your strong business understanding and experience from financial follow-up combined with your technical skills you can help guide your business stakeholders and our support partners in building the best analytics solution. You are driven by providing solutions that exceeds expectations. You also drive improvements for our existing solutions within the area of Finance analytics. You develop solutions end-to-end all the way from data extraction to visualizations as well as leading others in the same. The work can be both smaller changes as well as bigger projects depending on our stakeholders needs.
You will be joining a team focused on delivering end-to end solutions and maximize the business value for our business stakeholders, Finance/Business Controllers. Together in the team we work with different platforms like SAP FICO, SAP BPC , Cognos Controller and Analytics. We will work together on improving an end-to-end experience within the system landscape within Finance/Business controlling.
You will also be a part of a competence group within analytics that together are driving best practice and knowledge sharing within the company.
You have knowledge in ETL, data warehouse, modelling and reporting/dashboards. We are today using Microsoft tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI but are replacing parts of our current tool stack with tools like Snowflake, Matillion, Aecorsoft and dbt. You will be a part of a very exiting journey with developing our new Analytics platform and will have a strong influence of the finance area. The position is located at HQ in Gothenburg or in one of our regional hubs in UK, USA, Germany or France.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Responsible for making sure that data used by our Finance and Business Controlling community is available, structured and accessible to achieve business goals for the delivery team including coaching, facilitating and supporting the business organization in data & analytics maximizing business benefits.
• Making sure our Finance Analytics solutions are maintained and developed to the best of its use for our stakeholders.
• Delivering solutions together with the IT Controlling delivery team where your main contribution is end-to-end analytics solution all the way from data extraction to visualization, both independently as well as acting as a leader for others in the development work.
• Work together with the Data & Analytics competence group in developing and implementing best practice as well as knowledge sharing within the area of Data & Analytics.
• Develops standards, guidelines and tools relating to data & analytics in collaboration with Data & Analytics competence group
CAPABILITIES; QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• University Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or other relevant degree for example within Finance.
• Minimum 5 year's work experience in IT-solution development including work with data & analytics.
• System thinking with knowledge of relevant data & analytics platforms like SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI. It is an advantage with experience in Snowflake, Matillion, Aecorsoft and dbt.
• Demonstrated business acumen and relevant experience of business knowledge within finance/business controlling area.,
• Ability to gain understanding of customers' business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & relations with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations.
