Role Description
Excitingly Kantar Media has partnered with the MMS to build a new Cross-Media Measurement panel in Sweden, that will be one of the first of its kind in the world. We are looking for forward-thinking, diverse, and client-focused individuals to join our team and make this audience measurement panel a success for MMS and Kantar Media.
We are seeking a skilled data engineer who is eager to take on diverse responsibilities encompassing data integration, data architecture, database infrastructure, and ETL development.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, and collaborate well with cross-functional, international, and local teams.
Design, develop, test and maintain robust data pipelines that ensure seamless data integration.
Design and implement scalable and efficient data architecture solutions to support business requirements.
Evaluate and enhance various database systems (MS SQL, Oracle, Access, MySQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, etc.) for optimal storage, retrieval, and analytical efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data infrastructure and ensure data quality and integrity.
Write and optimize Python scripts for data processing, and automation solutions.
Create impactful visualizations using Power BI, SSRS, or equivalent tools.
Conduct reverse engineering on software applications, understanding internal structures, algorithms, and functionalities; analyze scripts, binaries, and source code for interpretation.
Analyse and organize raw data, ensuring data is reliable for consumption by data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrate flexibility in taking on various tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
Stay current with advancements in data engineering technologies and practices.

Required:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Fluent in both Swedish and English.
Proficient in SQL programming for effective database design, optimization, and querying.
Proficient in Python scripting for data processing and automation.
Experience with a cloud environment (Azure)
Experience in with industry big data platform stack (for example: Databricks, Spark, Airflow)
Proven hands-on experience in developing, and maintaining robust ETL data pipelines.
Good understanding of database administration, data warehousing concepts, and architectures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting of data issues.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, conveying intricate technical concepts effectively.
Exhibit trustworthiness, resilience, and a quick-learning aptitude.
