You will enter a recently started team with big plans, and as such have a key role on the journey to utilize all the data flowing within our system and developing our data solutions from scratch. You will highly influence which data processing frameworks and technologies we'll end up using.
You are interested in big data, data warehousing and business intelligence. You will work with all levels of data handling but may eventually focus on the area(s) where you are most passionate. There will also be possibilities to evolve into data science area and explore the possibilities provided by ML, AI and related technologies.
We strive to always use the best tool for the job. As everything we will develop in this area is brand new we do not yet have any requirements on the experience for specific technologies, but we believe you have experience with technologies like Kafka, Hadoop framework and ecosystem, Amazon Kinesis, Redshift, Storm or Spark.
Your key qualifications
• Care about and take responsibility for the quality in the product
• Degree in computer science or equivalent education
• Good knowledge in RDBMS, SQL, Data Warehousing, NoSQL-alternatives, data pipeline architecture, ETL/ELT processes and general database concepts
• Experience in developing Big Data solutions
• Good software development skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
Good if you have experience with
• Cloud platforms, preferably in AWS with services like EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, EC2, etc
• Event sourcing
