This position is in our Simulation Team within Electromobility Product Development.
We want to recruit a Data analysis engineer who will work with Volvo 's new range of electrical vehicles. Our department develops the electric drivelines that are used in trucks, buses, construction and marine applications.
Your main tasks will be:
Building analysis models and algorithms from large volumes of data to improve the quality and efficiency of our electric transport products
Analyse, create and provide data and data analytic reports to engineers within Electromobility area
Develop new solutions for how to visualize and make data available for Product Development and other partners
Work with improving the quality level of the data
Develop the data analysis field. You will have great opportunities to influence and build up this work area

You will be part of a newly established team working with Data analytics and simulation methods. The teams contributions are considered critical to take us at Electromobility to the next level in the development of our products.
Your work will be both operational as well as exploratory and you will get excellent opportunities to apply your deep knowledge in data analytics. The area is new for us and you will have a key role in developing our future way of working.
There are a growing network of data analysis engineers within Volvo Group with whom you are expected to share ideas and solutions with.

Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is passionate about both data analytics and electric vehicle development. Who wants to take a very active part in developing this new area together with us
You should be communicative and enjoy interacting with many different functions and people
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Science or similar technical field required
Master's degree in technical field strongly preferred
3 years of relevant experience, preferably in automotive industry
