Our biggest site in Uppsala develops, manufactures, and markets allergy tests and diagnostic systems. In central Stockholm we have two smaller offices that support customers with analytical, diagnostic and research related products, instruments and services. On the west coast in Gothenburg our newly built warehouse and office works with a wide range of laboratory equipment and consumables. On the outskirts of Ängelholm in southern Sweden ca. 40 people are dedicated to producing and extracting top-quality raw materials used in allergy tests and other health products.

Division
In this position you will be joining Fisher, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, which delivers over 800,000 different products to a wide range of laboratory customers, helping them to accelerate life science research, solve complex analytical challenges, improve patient diagnostics and increase laboratory productivity. You will based in our Gothenburg office, a state-of-the-art, newly built office and warehouse where approximately 50 employees work together.
What will you do?
As a Product Support Specialist you will be a first point of contact for our customers and work closely with the rest of your team to professionally and efficiently deal with customers' technical and product-related enquiries via phone, email and sometimes face-to-face. You will also work closely with the Nordic tender team in order to submit tenders on time.
Other duties:
Proactively develop specialist knowledge of your primary and secondary business units through regular interaction with stakeholders in other departments and suppliers.
Provide customers with clear and timely product support and take responsibility for customer follow-up and communication
Assist to create high-quality tender packages for our customers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland
Support and provide product training for internal colleagues, take part in new product trainings.
Feel empowered to resolve complex or difficult customer queries seeking support and clarification where appropriate and making decisions on together with the customer
Strive to continuously improve our processes and develop yourself
Effectively plan and prioritise workload on a daily basis to avoid backlogs, ensuring their Supervisor is made aware if any challenges
Liaise with Field Sales where appropriate to understand customer requirements regarding pricing, turnaround times and the potential of the account.
How will you get there?
To succeed in this role you must be fluent in Swedish and English as well as in Finnish OR Danish, and have a scientific background - ideally a scientific Masters or technical lab experience.
We see experience of working in a multi-channel customer service environment and in a technical/product support team as a distinct advantage.
As a person you are driven, open-minded and positive. Strong communication skills are key in this role as is the ability to solve problems and find solutions.
Our work environment is fast paced so you should be comfortable with working under pressure and multi-tasking.
