Country Manager

Role & Responsibilities:
Our internationally growing and successful company is looking to hire a highly result orientated and sales focused person to act as our Swedish Country Manager. Global Knowledge works closely with our customers and through this process builds a strategic, education, focussed relationship with our customers. Our customers cover all industry verticals and size, revenue of the Swedish unit is about 20 MSEK per year.

As a Country Manager you are responsible for the team results and profitability of the unit in Sweden. Daily work consists of B2B sales, account management of some of our largest customers, working with our vendor partners, leading the team and managing the profitability of the business. You have a team of 9 members in the office located in Solna. As a Country Manager you will report to the President EMEA in the UK.

We seek a person who has:
• Entrepreneurial spirit seen in your abilities to multitask, your flexibility and your ability to set an example for your team
• Business education and a strong B2B sales experience and leading a team towards great results A level of profit and loss experience and accountability
• Fluent English and Swedish, strong understanding of the Swedish business climate
• Expirence of working with and for an international management team

Skills and Abilities:
You have extensive experience in sales and sales management, likely within the IT sector. Alternatively you have previously worked as country manager or key account manager with a portfolio comprising large scale Swedish companies. You have a high degree of self-motivation and a strong focus on results. You have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Ideally you will have been responsible for the profitability of a country or business unit operation and some knowledge of a consulting business or Soft Skills training.
