About the role
The Costing Function is part of Electrolux's Finance Operations, driving cost management throughout New Product Development (NPD) and the product lifecycle across all product lines globally. In this team, the Cost Modelers play an essential role in delivering cost insights for hundreds of NPD projects annually, which contribute to the development of next-generation profitable white appliances.
You will work alongside Cost Managers to develop cost models, conduct detailed cost analyses, and support the R&D, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams in driving transparent and sustainable costing practices. Additionally, you'll help institutionalize Electrolux's costing knowledge and best practices across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for you to grow professionally while contributing to a critical function within Electrolux.
What you'll do
Conduct detailed "should cost" modelling for new components and collaborate with internal teams to define cost targets.
Support the R&D, Purchasing & Manufacturing departments in developing cost optimization strategies for NPD projects.
Perform product teardowns of competitor products and provide actionable insights.
Develop and maintain cost models for a specific component group (e.g., motors & compressors, mechanical, plastic, electrical, or electronic components).
Collaborate with Cost Managers to ensure resource allocation and capacity to meet project needs and deliver on KPIs related to cost excellence.

Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 5-6 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to data analysis and interpretation.
Experience in product costing, cost optimization, and related methodologies (e.g., DFMA, value engineering, target costing).
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with costing tools like TcPCM is a plus.
Experience in managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Where you will be based:
You will be based at our Stockholm HQ in Stadshagen, Sweden. This role offers flexibility with hybrid work options, and some travel may be required for project support and team collaboration.
Some of our benefits include:
Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment.
Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services.
Family-friendly benefits such as extended paternity leave (4 weeks).
Insurance policy plan.
Extensive learning opportunities and flexible career path.

As part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development. There are no barriers to where your career could take you.
