About the role
The company operates globally in the industrial sector and is one of the leading players in its field. They are now looking for a Controller to their team in central Gothenburg. This position offers you the possibility to work in an experienced, multi-cultural and open-minded department.
As a controller in the Manufacturing Development Centre (MDC) you will act as the financial business support for the management team. This includes monthly follow-up, analyses and planning as well as participating in operational and management meetings. You will also support the project managers with financial and project management issues on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will be:
• Responsible for the accounting, invoicing, journal support and other business support activities in the monthly closings.
• Work proactively to increase the efficiency and service levels towards the business.
• Manage the budget and the financial part in the project management process, purchase planning, cost follow-up, project cost reports and other project administration.
• Being able to answer product related questions as well as questions regarding invoices.
• Work actively as the financial link between the business and the local finance department in order to ensure that the companies finance guidelines are followed.
About you
You have academic background and a degree in finance, business administration or other related fields of study. You have an experience from accounting and operational controlling and you are a skilled excel and power point user. Experience and knowledge of SAP and ARIBA is preferred.
As a person, you have an ability to work independently, as well as flexible and with a pro-active mindset. You have a strong command of the English and Swedish language both written and spoken. It is also of importance that you have strong planning and organisational skills and an interest for both developing new and current processes and procedures.
Crucial for the position is:
• A degree in business administration or other equivalent fields
• Experience from accounting and operational controlling
• The ability to use the Swedish and English languages freely in speech and in writing

About the employment
The position as a Controller to the industry sector will start in March and is expected to last about a year forward. You will be employed by our customer company.
