Frontgrade Gaisler is looking for a skilled and driven Controller in Finance and Projects to join our Finance team in central Gothenburg.
Job description
As a Finance and Project controller, you report directly to the Finance Manager and work in a close collaborate on a daily basis. Your primary responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial data, participating in month-end closings and the annual reporting process, and providing day-to-day support to the Finance Manager in daily operations.
You will also serve as a support for our Finance Assistant.
The role requires close cross-functional collaboration with our Project Managers and Supply Chain team, you will support project relates financial activities such as calculations, outcome monitoring, budgeting, and inventory analysis. You will also be responsible for preparing calculations and documentation for reporting on government-funded projects to entities such as the EU, the Swedish National Space Agency, Vinnova, and ESA.
You will also be responsible for providing user support for various modules within our ERP and project management systems. Prior experience with Power BI report creation is considered advantageous.
Our current systems include Visma Net (ERP), Severa (Project module) For the group consolidation we use Oracle Pbcs.
In this role, the workload is divided approximately 50% Finance Controller and 50% Project Controller tasks. The Finance team currently consists of three members, including the Finance Manager.
This is a full-time position based at our office in central Gothenburg, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
Requirements
5 years of relevant work experience
Solid experience in accounting, auditing, and project accounting
Experience working in an international company
Excellent Excel skills
Experience working with larger ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Navision)
Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
University degree in Finance or Accounting, with a strong knowledge of Swedish accounting standards
