hela Sverige Purchasing Projects Vehicle Europe is a part of the Volvo Global Purchasing Organization, present in Europe, Asia and in North- & South America.
Purchasing Projects Vehicle Europe (PVE) works on all major Volvo Group Trucks projects. PVE responsibilities cover areas such as Cabin, Electrical & Electronics, Chassis Vehicle Dynamics & Fluid Transfer, Sheet Metal Casting Aluminium & Plastics.
Mission
As our Continental Project Buyer you will take on the important challenge to drive and execute purchasing activities in cross-functional product projects (Start cost, PMRs with product feature or offering impact) and deliver on commitments in order to fulfill the purchasing part of GPOT (project gate passed on time) and QDCF (Quality Delivery Cost Features).

Core Responsibilities
• Manage all project related supplier relations
• Member in applicable project cross-functional team(s)
• Negotiate changes between contract and actual project needs and ensure alignment to cost objectives
• Ensure supplier readiness for production
• Develop and maintain a sourcing plan, compile other sourcing prerequisites and secure timely hand-over to the Sourcing buyer.
• Compile and deliver QDCF results from project phase and secure a timely hand-over to the Operation buyer.
• Ensure collaboration with the other buyer roles within the respective segment(s
• Own the project purchasing key performance indicators on his/her segment(s)
• Lead Supplier Project Performance Reviews and contribute to Business Review Meetings (BRMs) with project performance input
• Drive Project crisis management when required and handle the escalation management at suppliers and in Volvo
Qualifications
• University degree in Business, Engineering or related field
• Purchasing and negotiation experience is seen as a strong advantage
• Project management experience is considered as an advantage
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
