Purpose of the role
• Managing and coordinating internal clinical and instrumental studies
• Organizing clinical and instrumental studies with external vendors
• Validating new Test Methods to support innovative claims
• Leading innovation and expertise in allocated champion area
What will you do?
• Receive New Product Development (NPD) briefs for assigned Categories, assess and feedback on the performance testing required.
• Review predicted resources quarterly and highlight peaks in resources and propose solutions.
• Deliver internal and external Clinicals and Instrumental with relevant end benefits.
• Expand team knowledge of instrumentation by interaction with suppliers, literature searches, and engagements with external contacts.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of academia & industry research on in vivo skin, hair and lip evaluation and efficacy testing to propose ideas for innovative claims generation and test method investigation within the strategic focus areas cross-category.
• Support relevant Oriflame's innovation processes and workshops. Propose ideas for innovative claims generation and new test method investigation in line with Oriflame's strategy.
• Act as internal and external expert for topics relating to Clinical and Instrumental Science.
• Manage Quality tools; Quality Forum and Lessons Learnt.
• Manage non-conformances.
• Manage Performance Evaluation Audit Program
• Ensure Quality Documentation (Standard Operating Procedures, Test Methods, Work Instructions, Standard Protocols and Document Templates) are maintained at a high level
• Generate yearly Quality plans and objectives and manage delivery.
Your background and your qualifications
• Degree qualification in a scientific discipline
• Minimum 10 years' Experience in monovariate and multivariate statistical analysis
• Thorough technical knowledge of relevant technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and their usage
• Evidence of working with marketing teams to turn product concepts into stable effective products to meet consumer needs
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
