We are looking for an engaged and passionate Chief Engineer & Security Manager to join our fantastic team! As a Chief Engineer & Security Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations in the department, for proactive maintenance and safety & security. You report to the General Manager.
Key responsibilities:
• Make certain that preventative maintenance is carried out to ensure that the property is maintained
• and in service for our guests
Develop the property and plan long and short term investment
• Be responsible for the department's budget and financial planning and monitor budget and control
expenses with a focus on energy management, preventative maintenance and capital planning.
• Keep up to date with the relevant legislation
• Be the first point of contact for the owners and for authorities
• Document, develop and follow up procedures related to your department
• Be responsible for the training of all team members in compliance with fire and safety regulations
• Co-ordinate with the security company that they are adhering to current legislation and follow company
procedures and standards
• Take on an active role in our CSR work - Responsible Business.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and co-ordination with other
departments. Stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure a timely response to requests.

Qualifications:
We believe that a suitable background for this role is that you have a degree/diploma in Engineering and/or Facility Management. You need to have experience of financial planning and budgeting from a similar role.
Documented knowledge of plumping, ventilation, fire protection system, electrical systems is an advantage.
It is important that you are good at developing relations both internally and externally. You also need to be organized and be used to prioritise your work day.Since we communicate both in Swedish and English it is important that you can communicate fluently both verbally and in writing in both languages.
