This position reports to Global Head of Supplier Management.
Are you ready to play a crucial role in advancing industrial electronics? Join our global team at ABB, where your expertise will contribute to significant innovations. Grow professionally in a supportive environment as you develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and reliability. In this role, you will ensure compliance with company procedures, recommend frame agreements, and support the ABB Process Control Platform (PCP) Global Procurement and Logistics function in Sweden. You will be mainly accountable for:
Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing process for implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy and ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts.
Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists, and terms and conditions.
Supporting regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.

Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain roles within the industrial electronics sector, with a proven track record in supplier management and negotiations.
Lead and manage procurement activities for high-end industrial electronics components, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs, using detailed analysis of market trends, supplier performance, and procurement da-ta.
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
