The section Active Safety CAE supports Active Safety development by means of computational analysis and simulation. This is done either virtually in a computer environment or semi-virtual in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) environment. The section today includes 18 engineers, where 4 are specialised in HIL simulations.
As a CAE Engineer Hardware-In-The-Loop you will provide expertise and support test engineers to run test on the HIL station and create HIL environment for testing Active Safety functions. You will also participate in project meetings and report test results to management.
Main responsibilities
• Support test engineers to perform tests
• Perform test (failsafe, diagnostics, functional) and analyse test results
• Implement models in Simulink
• Perform software testing on component and system level
• Integrate hardware with vehicle simulator
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. degree in engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in modeling using Simulink and Matlab
• Driver's license
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience from vehicle dynamics is meritorious
• An asset would be experience from network communication, real time simulation and signal processing

• You have good communication and social skills and a willingness to actively participate in the team's common matters
• Self-motivated and deliver on time, on target and with quality
