About the Assignment
We are looking for a CAE Engineer to support a Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team working with both current and future vehicle platform concepts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional attribute teams to align suspension system performance, contributing to data-driven decisions through simulation and analysis in a technical, collaborative environment.
Job DescriptionSupport studies of current and future platform concepts within Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics
Collaborate with attribute teams to align and balance suspension system performance
Build and analyze kinematic models for package studies
Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts
Run lap simulations and vehicle dynamics evaluations
Perform ADAMS simulations and build ADAMS RT models
Improve queuing behavior in the driving simulator
Improve brake and steering feel in the driving simulator
RequirementsB.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Chassis System Development
Strong understanding of chassis system and concept development
Ability to balance attribute requirements such as NVH, vehicle dynamics, durability, corrosion and brakes
Experience with multiple suspension system layouts
Vehicle dynamics competence and understanding
Tool experience: MS Office, Adams, Matlab/Simulink, ADAMS RT, lap simulations, VI-grade, simulator software setup (DIM 250), Autohawk 64
Nice to haveExperience collaborating in international, multicultural engineering environments
Agile and solution-oriented way of working in cross-team settings
