In this position you will be an important role of an international organization with many contact areas. We are currently seeking for a motivated and highly-skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a BI Developer, you will work closely with different stakeholders within the organization to determine key performance indicators, provide reports, dashboards and metrics for analysis and support finding opportunities.
This is your team and your tasks
We are looking for a person with a combined business and technical background. As a BI developer, you will be part of a centralized BI team with the main task to understand our business and together with business create insightful and actionable business information. Your work will cover the entire development chain from requirement analysis to design and to its implementation. This is a fun and varied work where you will work with Scania IT and have contact with people at the headquarters as well as on the 15 business units around the world. The digitization shift now under Financial Services also creates the opportunity to be involved in various initiatives.
In your daily work you will:
• Work closely with product owners and end-users to understand and translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. PowerBI and SSRS)
• Be part of a centralized BI team that will provide standards, guidance and leadership for BI projects and activities.
• Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models and data-driven analysis to support Scania Financial Services business.
• Hands-on involvement in the design, development and implementation of optimal, scalable BI solutions.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Empower business users in the use of Self-Service BI tool, e.g. PowerBI
This is your profile
You are a true team player with a high business focus and good communication skills. To succeed in this position you should have the following skills and/or qualities:
• Higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Familiar in data warehousing and information modelling.
• Experience in BI Microsoft development tools: SQL Server, TFS, SSRS, Power BI.
• Knowledge in data integration using ETL tool SSIS.
• Leasing and financing business knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in English is a must.
