Description
Do you have ideas about how Technical Service Expert Services could add more value to our customers and create substantial business for Tetra Pak?
Today, our customers' are operating in an ever increasing competitive environment. The role of Expert Services (ES) is to help our customers to maximise their profitability derived from the operation and use of their assets. The ES consulting based services and solutions drive improvement in customer operational efficiency delivering proven value to the customer. As a consequence this is seen as a significant business growth area for Tetra Pak Technical Service. The role is to develop both new products/solutions and mange the existing ES portfolio and to define the required delivering capability within the regional ES hubs.
You will be part of ES Management team and be accountable for the profitably growth of the Expert Service Consulting business.
Main responsibilities
• Global Consulting Services revenue and margin within expert services category
• Deliver services that drive down the customer's operational cost
• Develop close collaboration with the Cluster organisations to implement the appropriate 3 year business plan for Expert Services
• Identify deployment resourcing needs based on 3 year plan
• Work with the appropriate sales channels to ensure appropriate selling of Expert Service
• Identify new business opportunities for ES
• Participate as product receiver for relevant new product development projects
Qualifications
You will either be qualified or be able to offer demonstrable evidence of driving a business, ideally with 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with at least 3 years spent building a services business.
Having an extensive customer understanding plus experience in selling services, you are able to clearly articulate the value we create for our customers. You are capable of building an understanding and alignment with audiences on all levels. You have a proven track record in developing a services based business and are result oriented, driven and have an ability to inspire and create commitment across a matrix organisation, especially where you have no formal authority.
You have the ability to take complex ideas and make them easy to understand while clearly identifying both opportunities and the value created. You are required to travel about 25% internationally and see this as opportunity to build a business leveraging Tetra Pak's unique insight into customer operations.
You have a Degree in Industrial management/ quality or relevant discipline. Project management skills are required and you excel both at written and spoken English. You have a good knowledge of and ideally experience in WCM, Lean or similar methodologies
