We are now looking for a business developer that can handle customer contacts, manage customer pilots, and be part of our team.

The role
As a business developer at the Innovation Lab, you help all brands of the Volvo Group to invent the future by creating magic service experiences that improve our customers' and users' everyday life at construction sites, on roads, in city streets, on waters and in industrial contexts.
Key responsibilities
Grow and develop services in a business-to-business context in close collaboration with customers
Drive and curate a sales funnel of new customers, leveraging digital and physical networks
Building lasting relationships and prospects with customers
Building business cases and customer proposals
Supporting the Innovation Managers throughout our innovation initiatives, with a focus on the middle and later stages of our innovation proces
The position reports to the Director Business Innovation & Foresight and is part of the Volvo Group Connected Solutions Innovation Lab.
Who are you?
You are a talented business developer, marketer, or project leader who wants to push the boundaries and accelerate growth of sustainable services and solutions in a B2B domain.
You should preferably have proven experience from:
Customer development activities and business to business sales
Methods such as business model design, value proposition canvas, and lean start-up
Building business cases and customer proposals
Building lasting relationships with prospects and customers
Ideally you have a few years of experience in a similar role, but with the right mindset, you could also be recently graduated.
You should also:
Network, communicate, lead workshops, and present with ease
Be eager to create and drive customer development activities
Have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen
Like to work in a fast paced, multicultural, and diverse environment
Be characterized by humility, integrity, and creativity
Take responsibility for the quality of what we deliver together
Have humor, because in the end, working here should be fun!
The formal education requirement is a Master of Science or equivalent in business administration, and you are fluent in English. International experience is a merit.
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travel is expected.
