Do you want to work in a dynamic position where you are part of building business plans and through analysis and reports define ways to identify business opportunities? DIAB is looking for a Business Controller Asia Pacific (Australia, Thailand, India and the Middle East). The position is located in Laholm and reports to EVP Asia Pacific.
Main responsibilities and tasks
• Perform business reviews to evaluate business plans, financial performance, legal documentation and processes.
• Support Global Market Segment Managers in business related issues.
• Development of existing as well as new business supporting tools, maintaining and developing organizational interfaces relating to reporting processes.
• Participate in projects to ensure faster and better quality reporting, including budget, profitability analyse, business opportunity and cost controls.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets for critical operations KPI’s.
• Challenge and support business leaders and controllers on financial as well as business matters.
• Provide strategic foresight and scenario planning on driver changes of prices, yield, volume etc.
• Build relations with colleagues to gain timely and critical information to maximize the performance of the business.
• Liaise with other Business Controllers to identify and implement best practices for controlling and business planning.
Candidate profile
The successful candidate has 5-10 years experience from a sales and/or producing organization within an international environment and your experience of margin and profitability analysis and reporting is comprehensive. You have a university degree in Business Administration. You are proficient in English, both oral and written. Strong Excel skills are required and you have an interest within IT.
You are a business oriented, cooperative and highly communicative team player with a self-motivating can-do attitude. You possess a commercial sense and have a strong analytical thinking with an external focus and a capacity and interest to work with both details and the bigger picture. Further you are ambitious and can easily adapt to changes and see opportunities with a hands-on approach. Your flexibility and initiative will be appreciated.
Travelling will be required.
