In order to strengthen our team in Sandviken, Sweden, we are now looking for a talented and ambitious Business Controller who enjoys an environment where you are close to the decisions and able to influence.
Key performance areas
As Business Controller, you are primarily responsible for supporting the business in decision-making by providing transparent financial information. You actively consult in the areas of Profit & Loss, Net Working Capital and Balance Sheet items. You identify gaps and opportunities and work with cost savings as well as efficiency improvement processes. Important part of your mission is to assist Sandvik Coromant's business and functions with forecasts, analysis, comments and reports, as well as follow-up concerning our business performance. You are also part of the proactive development of Business Control in terms of effectiveness, systems and methods. As part of your role you will occasionally participate in the management team of the respective global support function.
Location of this position is Sandviken, Sweden. Occasional travel abroad may occur.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in economics and preferably three to five years' experience from working with business control, financial control or business analyses. You know your way around business financial systems, and we prefer good knowledge of an analysis system such as SAP. As our business is truly global, your skills in English must be excellent, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish are advantageous.

You have an analytical mindset, the ability to work independently and you have a natural talent for identifying trends and easily digest large amounts of data. To be successful in this role you need the confidence to profoundly question assumptions, and also understanding the importance of accuracy and good communication. You are also able to manage complex situations where time constraints, conflicting and insufficient information and high demands on quality are fundamental.
