In order to strengthen our customer offering, we continue to transform and further develop our organization. Global Merchandising today consists of approx. 30 employees and are made up of Central Analytics Team, Global Supply Chain and Merchandising Solutions.
Following the development of H&M towards customer centricity, the Central Analytics Team has grown rapidly over recent years. Now we are 11 individuals coming from various backgrounds and countries sharing the same values and passion for analytics and hence working as one strong team. Together we are supporting the company to maximize the results as well as developing the business for future success. The analytical part of the team focuses primarily on enabling data-driven decision making, by securing a stable data infrastructure and making data accessible through user-friendly reports and tools. With many different stakeholders throughout the company, we need to continuously align when it comes to business needs and commercial goals
Job Description
Build and create analytical tools in to enable data-driven decision making
Ensure output quality of our analytical tools in terms of i.e. quality and user friendliness
Support the company in reaching commercial goals through analysis, by sharing understanding and competence of analytical tools with end users
Actively assure that our developments are aligned with current business needs
Foresee future business analytical needs and drive the development of these together with relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
Working proficiency in SQL and DAX
Experience of working with data visualization and data modeling in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
Genuine interest in creating business value with the use of data
The ability to see the bigger picture and keep attention to detail
Great team spirit, who thrives in a dynamic work environment
Enjoys explaining complicated technical concepts to a less technical audience
A creative, curious and solution orientated mind-set
Minimum bachelor's degree in economics, engineering or equivalent academic education
Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
