We are looking for a Bid Manager for our Stockholm facility
Your Role
In the role as Bid Manager for our RCS Division (Rail Control Solutions) you will get the chance to work in an international and challenging environment, being responsible for organizing, planning and tracking all activities within your bid projects.
You will act as the team leader in the bids, coordinating and driving an expert team with people from all parts of RCS (engineers, project managers, sales managers, finance, quality and safety, procurement, contracts and services)
A part of your role will also be to support negotiations with the customers and hand over awarded bids to the project manager.
Your Challenges
Leadership
As a Bid Manager you work as a project manager and you need to be able to lead and instruct the team members, organize, divide and follow up the work and to judge different situations with respect to cost, time and quality.
Commercial
You need to understand the business reality and the financial requirements and you must understand the customers? expectations to be able to establish a good relationship.
Technical Skills
You need to understand software and hardware concepts in complex systems.
Your Experience and Qualifications
To succeed in this role you need to fulfill the following criteria's:
• University degree in engineering.
• At least 3 years experience from a similar role.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team and to manage projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong competitive drive and drive for results.
• Good analytical skills.
• Reliable to meet short deadlines.
• Good negotiation skills.
