Baseband Software Expert

About the position
We are currently looking for a software expert to our Wireless Baseband Team at Huawei Kista office, to take on the challenge to develop the multi-standard signal processing solution.
You will be responsible for the software architecture for the next generation baseband.
You are the key member of the baseband software architecture team to design the baseband software architecture for wireless communications systems (LTE, UMTS, GSM?) on multiple processors. You are going to work closely with other baseband members, such as algorithm developers, system experts, hardware designer. You will be responsible to define and develop application, demos and reference design packages. The work will be done in very close cooperation with the Huawei wireless organization in Shanghai.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 8 years industrial experience in software development and strong background in wireless communications, i.e. familiar with 3G and LTE and good knowledge on PHY Layer;
3+ years experience in DSP software development in C and implementation of baseband subsystems on multi-core processors is required..
A Master Degree or PhD in computer science, EE, wireless communication or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements
The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.
Location
This is a fulltime position at our R&D office in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden.
