Are you an experienced nanny and tutor who is a fluent English and Mandarin speaker and has an education in children's pedagogy?
We are a family with three children in Stockholm looking for a full time nanny and tutor with start immediately. Our children are four and a half years old, soon three years old and ten months old. We speak English and Swedish and children have basic skills in Mandarin. We need help Monday through Friday, normal working hours, to manage our daily routines and teach our children language and other skills. The role will mainly take care of our children and work will include tutoring and helping with home work, teaching Mandarin and English, leaving and picking up at pre school, taking care of our youngest child who is at home, cooking food, and joining our children to different classes
such as dance and art.
YOUR PROFILE
You are a responsible and trustworthy individual with high energy level and a positive attitude. While being serious and thorough you are also playful and easy going. You take a pride in always doing your best, enjoy learning new things and love to develop yourself. You have a genuine interest in childcare in general and teaching in particular and we would also like to see that you have a basic education in children's pedagogy and/or psychology. You preferably have an international background and have experience from other cultures. We would also like to see that you enjoy busy environments and can adapt to change in a good way.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Mandarin
• You have education in children's psychology and pedagogy
• You have worked with children and especially very young children; from newborn
• You have at least 3 years of experience working with children and preferably as a "live in nanny" in a family with small children
• Basic knowledge in the Swedish language (both written and spoken)
• Some understanding of the Swedish Culture
