Ã…F has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.
At Ã…F's Automotive Project Center our main focus is to work in inhouse projects with complete delivery packages to our customers. Different competences cooperate to deliver complete solutions in both design and validation phases. We use a CAE driven development process, which means that you as a CAE engineer have a central role in the project. Chassis is one area where we have a strong design and CAE team and we now need to grow our team within multi body dynamics simulations.
As a CAE engineer within multi body simulations you are needed very early in a vehicle or a platform project, to develop the chassis system layout. Your tasks include to build multi body models on system or vehicle level, evaluate and optimize kinematic and compliance properties. It can also be to create load data to be used in FE analysis of the components and systems. Correlation to test data is also an important part of the job. In addition to this it can be useful to create scripts that will enhance the work.
Together with test engineers you can also have the chance to develop new objective test methods, an area where Ã…F's Automotive Project Center is well advanced.
Who are you?
M.Sc within mechanical engineering, with focus on vehicle engineering
Experience from softwares like Adams, Motionview or SIMPACK
Good programming skills in softwares like Matlab and Python
Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken
To be successful in this role, you should be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with people both internally and externally. You have strong analytical capability and use logic and methods to solve problems in an efficient manner, with the customer needs in mind. You have a desire to develop technical and personal skills with high level of motivation and a positive attitude.
