B&R is looking for a Manager for our Swedish Automation Team. This position is based in Malmö but travelling to our other offices and customers will occur on regular basis.
The Automation Engineering Manager has the overall responsibility of the Automation Team including the support quality and project success.
The Automation Engineering Manager have personnel responsibility for the team that consist of:
• Two or more team leaders that cover operational parts of the role (Support and Projects)
• Application engineers, currently 12 but during the year it is planned to increase to 15
• Student workers, currently 3, but a hiring process of 2 is started
As an Automation Engineering Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team of engineers operating in the field of industrial automation and software development.

People management
Hiring
Performing PDAs and salary reviews
Representing the application team in the management team
Resource coordination
Team budget
Calling for team meetings
Your background
Want to work with, and develop, a highly motivated team of engineers
Enjoy coordination and planning
Have personal skills such as customer focus, capacity to make decisions, being creative and intuitive
Have at least 3 years relevant university degree or qualifications from former employment or other technical educations
Have practical experience in the field of machine and system automation
Are fluent in Swedish and English, German is a plus
IEC-61131-3 and preferably also in C, C++ or any other high level language
Have a strong ability to work in teams as well as on your own
Willing to travel
Have a driving license
Would like to contribute to B&R's expansion and success
