The Assistant Residence Manager serves as an Assistant to the Ambassador and his spouse at the residence. Duties include maintaining the supervisor's calendar; making appointments and acting as interpreter as needed; drafting correspondence; locating information for various events; maintaining contact files; preparing requests for travel; and providing back up for Residence Manager as needed.

Education: Completion of secondary school
Prior work experience: 1 year of working as an Assistant in an office environment.
Post entry training: Use of Microsoft systems, office and research skills.
Language proficiency: Level 4, fluent in English and Swedish.
Job knowledge: General function of embassies.
Skills and abilities: plan, organize, manage and balance work requests, evaluate and reorder priorities, undertake research.
