www.fingerprints.com FPC seeks an ASIC production test development engineer to help us developing future fingerprint systems for smartphones and other mobile devices. The sensor design is a mixed-mode design in a standard CMOS process. FPC is a global leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the entire system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to the algorithms and software for fingerprint including the recognition, and applications on the target devices.
The Role
In this role you will be focusing on developing the production test of future ASIC system on chip (SOC) and processors. The position is a technical role with planning skills where you suppose to contribute with design for test (DFT) knowledge and implementation of production tests of our future ASIC SOC. These questions will include DFT of our SOC solutions, both analog and digital tests, as well as DFT of our system in package (SIP). This means that the role involves interaction with our development teams, in analog and digital design, as well as our wafer and assembly suppliers.
Your background
The role requires a Master of Science in Engineering, with specialization in electronics, physics, computer science or equivalent. More specifically, work experience in ASIC SOC design and digital and analog tests are of high value as this role deals with detailed questions in both the design and the product test. You can be newly graduated as well as have several of years of experience of fields to apply for the position.
You can communicate fluently in English, written and spoken, and have a possibility to travel if necessary.
Success in this role requires:
• Knowledge and experience in digital and analog ASIC
• Knowledge and experience in ASIC production test: wafer and packaging.
