As Area Sales Manager within Business Unit Processing Components & Supply Chain you will be part of the team responsible for securing the growth for Key Components through intensive support to our clusters. There are five clusters and we are looking for Area Sales Managers for two of them; GME&A - Greater Middle East & Africa and NCS&A - North, Central and South Americas. You will be the liaison between the central BU and your cluster driving training in order to increase sales. You will also be responsible for implementing and following up on campaigns, securing forecasting accuracy and customer satisfaction.
This role reports to the Manager of Sales Support and will be based in Lund, Sweden. Approximately 40-50 travel days per year is expected.
Main responsibilities
• Develop and drive regional sustainable and profitable business for NS and TS&S
• Safeguard fulfilment of Order Intake as well as sales result
• Joint taskforce together with cluster Key Components Leaders to meet end customer satisfaction
• Monthly update and reporting of market situation to Sales Support manager
Qualifications
To be successful you have a degree in Engineering (Food or Mechanical) or solid experience from the Food and/or Beverage industry. It is a merit if you have process and/or product knowledge from Separators, Homogenizers & Heat exchangers. Commercial experience is seen as highly meriting.
As a person you are result oriented and customer focused with a drive to add value to the team and the business. Furthermore, you are a technically driven person with strong sales interest. The ability to both understand and convey the customer needs into business opportunities is essential. You possess strong communication skills combined with an open and positive attitude.
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required. Knowledge in other languages such as French and Spanish is a bonus.
