About the job Together with the team and the value stream architects, you will be involved in the development process from start to end. You will be responsible for creating IT solutions that fulfill business requirements while following architectural guidelines. The most important tasks will be to work with functional and non-functional requirements, solution design and implementation using technologies such as Java EE, REST, HTML5 and Angular JS. You will be a part of the team, interacting with team managers, APO, Scrum Master, and other stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in our Value Stream and create great value for our customers. We work close to our business partners and we often see the direct results of our achievements.
What you need to succeed You are a committed Software Engineer and/or solution architect with a good grip of Java and associated technologies and patterns. You have experience from working within an Enterprise environment in a large organization. As a person you need to be a communicative team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and learning from your colleagues. Problem solving and new responsibilities gets you motivated. You are eager to learn about our Pension and Insurance business.
Competence and experiences
Experience from Java/Web development
Knowledge in Java and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Spring, AngularJS)
Experience from Ajax and asynchronous web services with REST/JSON
Experience from databases such as MS SQL and Oracle
Experience from enterprise integrations such as Web Services and MQ
Some Enterprise security experience e.g. secure web interfaces, certificates and understanding of network security
5-10 years of experience from senior software development and/or IT architectural related roles
Experience of leading design or architectural work
Experience in technical leadership, coaching and mentoring
Experience from developing responsive and adaptive solutions for mobiles, tablet and desktops is an advantage
Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed
Fluent in Swedish and English - oral and written
Self-motivate and have a positive attitude
An academic degree in appropriate IT discipline
