Your role and responsibilities
ABB Measurement and Analytics division is among the world-leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers. With thousands of experts around the world and high-performance digital technology, ABB's team is dedicated to making measurement easy for its industrial and energy customers to let them operate more efficiently and profitably.
This position Ensures the application works reliably, serves its users, and remains fit for purpose for supported business processes to deliver value to the organization. Accountable for application security and compliance, in line with external and internal regulations.
The position includes to gather the requirements from all stakeholders and to handle high-level programming to implement agreed functionality. Or to coordinate external resources if needed.

Responsible for application development, run, and maintenance.
Application master data management.
Ensures alignment of application with business strategy and needs.
Is responsible for application availability, incident management, error corrections.
Responsible for performance management, adoption, and continuous improvement of the application.
Responsible to drive smaller projects for the system when needed.
Performs and ensures business impact analysis to identify the business criticality of the application and ensure relevant service continuity.
Acts as first point of contact for owned application and manages key application stakeholders.
Responsible to handle Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and other application documentation according to ABB standards.
Responsible to coordinate and gather information for strategy decisions in alignment with business requirements.
Effective planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering applications within time and resource constraints.
Ensures adherence to corporate IS policies and procedures, as well as to internal regulations and external legislation for the given application job (i.e., segregation of duties, data privacy, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), export trade control, etc.), and ensures effective control implementation and periodic reviews as needed.
Enensures up-to-date and accurate User Access Rights Management (UAM), including completion of the periodic review of access rights.

Qualifications for the role
Knowledge and experience of working in Agile formats, such as SCRUM or Kanban.
Experience in high level coding in Camos or equivalent is a merit.
Experience in programming version control and code management.
Database knowledge, SQL or similar solution is a merit.
Experience in Application management or similar responsibility are a merit.
Experience from lifecycle management of a system.
Worked with Process Improvement & Optimization is a merit.
It is also good if you have experience with project management.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills as this position is handling several stakeholders.
A Masters degree in a relevant engineering field or similar experience.
Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of Swedish is beneficial as this position is located within the factory based in Västerås, Sweden.
