The opportunity
We are currently looking for ambitious graduates and professionals with up to two years of experience to join our team in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö. At "VME" you will work with:
Valuation of businesses across industries and life cycles
Building advanced financial models in Excel for M&A transactions and other business/strategic purposes
Valuation of financial and intangible assets for transactions, financial reporting and tax purposes
Valuation of complex securities such as options/warrants, convertible/preferred/ordinary shares applying for example Black-Scholes model or Monte Carlo simulation
As a professional at VME you will receive responsibility from day one, analyzing and structuring information into a cohesive valuation model. You get to contribute with your expertise working alongside other service lines at EY, including Strategy and Transactions (see below), Audit and Tax.

Strategy and Transactions
Strategy and Transactions (SaT) includes four main teams: M&A Advisory, Financial Transaction Diligence, Valuation, Modelling & Economics and EY-Parthenon (strategy consulting business / turnaround and restructuring strategy)

In the Strategy and Transactions team we combine skills within execution of transactions, valuation and strategy consulting. We work in a global environment and cover a wide spectrum of industries. Our clients are the leading Nordic and international private equity houses, infrastructure funds, corporates and entrepreneurs. Strategy and Transactions is among the fastest growing service lines within EY in the Nordics with a very successful track record and strong deal flow.

To qualify for the role you must have
A suitable academic degree (M.Sc. Tech or M.Sc. Econ.) in the field of e.g. Finance, Accounting or Economics, Industrial Management or Engineering
Excellent academic credits
Fluent in English and at least working towards learning Swedish
Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
Ideally, you also have
Relevant work experience
International experience, either from studies or work
