Analysis Engineer - System Development Fuel

This role is within the group Fuel System Development, which is part of the fuel section within Powertrain Installation which consists of 60 employees in four groups. You will work together with 16 persons, both men and women, with different roles such as, analysis engineers, project managers, attribute leader, advanced engineering leader and system responsible. Our challenge is to develop fuel systems that meet Volvo Car Groups high requirements for a luxury experience for the customer and at the same time fulfill the challenging legal requirements for safety as well as for emissions. Responsible for leading system development for complete fuel system and perform system testing as well as the attribute area complete vehicle EVAP. We lead the work within the section from early phase until start of production towards our car projects.

As an Analysis Engineer for fuel system you will work closely with system responsible and project managers as well as test lab and vehicle coordinators. You will have a key role in the system team. We are looking for you who want to be part of developing and performing system testing for fuel system, to contribute in writing test methods for new requirements and perform tests in internal and external lab. Tests are done both on component, subsystem and complete vehicle and can also involve expeditions. We are constantly developing our working methods in order to be more effective. Automated data analysis and simulations is something that we have implemented, and will focus on more in the future, to be able to speed up our processes.

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. university degree or equivalent experience
• PC competence (MATLAB, excel)
• Driving license at least B
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Experience in test automation and simulation is meritorious
• Experience from testing within Volvo Cars (INCA and complete vehicle testing) is meritorious
• Experience within fuel system and its sub systems is meritorious
• Good knowledge about product development is meritorious
• Knowledge in chemistry, thermodynamics or mechatronics is meritorious
• Knowledge about cars is meritorious
