About the job
Group Commerce was established 2017 within Group Lending and Payments with the mission to strengthen Swedbank 's offering of bundled payment solutions to merchants. This means delivery of competitive, reliable, and high quality products in different channels across POS - in store, E/M-commerce (= OMNI channels). The BIO organization is responsible for efficient contribution of deliveries in close collaboration with Product specialists, according to set strategies.
The Commerce business is becoming more and more global and is in constant change. Although Swedbank has a leading card acquiring position in Sweden and the Baltics, there are significant opportunities for growth within the E-com channels. In order to address the E-com channels and strengthen the position Swedbank acquired the company PayEx in August 2017. The acquisition complements Swedbank's strong acquiring offering with PSP, checkout and retail finance capabilities. With these components we hold the base of a strong offering regardless of payment channel.
Swedbank is the fifth largest card acquirer in Europe and has a solid market position in Sweden and in the Nordics/Baltics. The product is distributed through different Payment Service Providers (PSPs), including our own PayEx One offering, as well as through our own sales channels and distribution network. In a role as Agile Product Owner (APO), you will be responsible for what to build/deliver/maintain and to maximize the value of the investment opportunity and the work of the cross functional teams (CFT). In the role you will act as APO for one out of five CFT 's in the Commerce BIO area.
Main activities of the CFTs are to:
Develop and maintain the core card acquiring systems such as Base24, PRM, Zachi, TMS, Babs Access , BPM Babs Onboarding
Ensure stable and high quality deliveries as well as continuous stability of the systems and services managed by the team.
Ensure contribution to problem, incident and crisis management
Your assignment comprises
Prioritize and manage backlog in order to maximize value for the users and customers; decide when there is enough value to release to production together with stakeholders
Ensure that the backlog is in place in collaboration with the business analysts in the CFT teams: that items are created, acceptance criteria's are defined and items are understandable for the team
Ensure that agreed investments opportunities/MVPs from the value stream roadmap are delivered
Responsibility to assure prioritization so that there is a healthy balance between new functionality, maintenance and life cycle
Plan and estimate the work together with the team
Expectation management towards stakeholders including establishing, maintaining and communicating prognosis of what will be done and when.
In collaboration with the Chief Product owner (CPO), ensure there is efficient process and solution in place for transparent stakeholder request management, planning and communication
Act as team player in the cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working
Collaborate with other team and APO 's in order to secure value stream joint deliveries.
Ensure that IT services are aligned with the Target Architecture and Business Domain Architecture and strategies as well as Wanted Position.
What you need to succeed The ideal candidate has/is:
People management skills
Communication management skills
Self-driven, gives and takes responsibility
Experience from the card acquiring/issuing area and, hence deep insights and understanding of the business.
Collaborative inside and outside of the team
Experience from working in or together with agile teams
Proficient in oral and written English
A relevant university degree or similar work experience
